o Admission to the BEP is free
o Watch for visitor parking lot sign on Blue Mound Road
o Security, for obvious reasons, is tight but workable
o No cell phones, cameras, etc. in the facility - Our Bureau of Engraving and Printing tour includes:
o Informational movie presentation
o Tour of the printing facility
o Two floors of historic / explanatory exhibits
o Visit to a quality gift shop where we can spend a few older bucks to
invest in sheets and partial sheets of U.S. currency and other trinkets
and such
Following the above schedule will allow for a great lunch, then our visit to the BEP
at 12:30 p.m. Thus giving 3 – 4 hours for the tour of the facility. Such a schedule
will allow plenty of time to get to Prespa’s Restaurant for the pre-Mid Cities Coin
Club meeting dinner. Prespa’s is located at 3100 W. Arkansas, Arlington, TX 76106
All are invited, following dinner, to experience the Mid Cities Club for our 7:00 p.m.
regular 1st Tuesday meeting at the Pantego Lion’s Club building located at 3535
